Michelle Jenkins

I am the Director of Worship & Music / Getwell Church, Southaven MS. My joy is to help create the tapestry of worship by setting in motion the giftedness of the skilled singers and musicians at Getwell Church to glorify God through the power of the Holy Spirit. Since the start of Getwell in 1986 I have served in this role, and God continues to be faithful in guiding and shaping me with every turn and experience along the path. An integral source of encouragement and resourcing on that path has been my connection with Dwayne Moore and Next Level Worship. In 2010, on a nudge from the Holy Spirit, I clicked on a link to participate in the Online Worship Leadership Training Course. The skilled, wise, prayerful and personalized coaching Dwayne provides, and other NLW events & opportunities in which I have participated, have equipped me to develop a stronger, healthier and more impactful ministry… not perfect, but definitely more anchored in a Jesus-centered approach. As retirement nears, my heart’s desire is to set up my successor for success in whatever ways I am able, and the tools NLW provides is playing a huge role in accomplishing that goal. NLW is among the most meaningful and significant influences in my story. Jesus be praised!
