“Who can I invite to attend this event?” Worship leaders, praise team members, choir members, instrumentalists, tech gurus, sound, and lighting. This is for anyone (paid staff or volunteer) who works in your worship ministry. Even the pastor and other staff members can join in if they want!
“What is the main purpose for having this event?” During COVID-19 many churches had to suspend services and as a result some of us may have become isolated and disengaged. This weekend is designed to be a fun and functional way to bring your teams together and help them to be renewed and regain their focus as they prepare to reengage for live worship services.
“What if our church has not yet resumed live meetings?” Don’t worry, we can connect virtually as well.
“Can we choose our times?” Yes, we want to offer you some flexibility in the actual schedule and flow. The only thing we ask is, if you are not holding Dwayne over for a Sunday service with your church, that you schedule end shortly after lunch on Saturday. That allows him time to return home or make it to another Sunday event.
“How long will the sessions be?” Again, we want to offer some flexibility to meet your team’s individual needs, but they can be anywhere from 45 minutes to 90 minutes in length.
“Is Dwayne live online or pre-recorded video?” If you choose a virtual option, then the main teaching sessions with Dwayne will be live and not pre-recorded.
“We want to do a live event, but some of my team members are ‘high-risk’ and not ready to return to live gatherings. Is there a way for them to participate?” If you have a means of securely broadcasting to your absent team members such as Zoom, then we will allow you to do so. We simply ask that the sessions not be recorded and or aired publicly.
“Can people watch from home or can we be together?” If doing a virtual event, you can allow everyone to view from their individual homes (or anyplace they can have a stable internet connection) or as a group. It is totally up to you, but we do advise that you check with your local authorities to ensure you are following any guidelines they may have in place concerning group gatherings.
“What are the main differences between the two tracks offered?” The “Heart of Worship” theme is more spiritually based and will offer some in-depth teaching on the topics of worship and honoring God. It contains some wonderful biblical teaching along with practical steps on how to live a life that honors God in the everyday as well as when we are serving in the church service. The “Regathering” theme is geared more towards the practical aspects of serving in the church service including tips on how to lead worship when no one else is in the room. Choose either track or speak to our staff to tailor sessions from both to best impact your individual needs.
“What is the cost?” If you want a full weekend to include Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday morning worship services then we ask for $3,000.00 plus expenses for Dwayne. If you are only asking for A Friday/Saturday event, then we ask $1,500.00 plus expenses for Dwayne. If you choose to do virtual only, then we ask for $699.00 and we can accommodate up to 99 of your team members (we can do larger groups but that will require a slight up-charge). However, please remember that we are a ministry and we are willing to work with churches of all sizes and budgets so if you need help with budgeting, please reach out to our Director of Ministries, John Martin, and he will work with you to help meet your needs.
